Cowgirl Creative Co. Terms and Policies

Oct 2, 2026

Soft as Suede. Strong as Iron.

Every good ride starts with a clear trail. These Terms and Policies lay out how we work together, so you can saddle up with confidence.

Last updated: October 2, 2026

1. General

These Terms and Policies apply to everything Cowgirl Creative Co. offers through cowgirlcreativeco.com and in person: coaching, custom portraits, prints and merch, gatherings and retreats, corporate experiences, and speaking. By visiting our site, booking a session, buying art, or reserving a gathering, you agree to these terms.

  • Who we are. Cowgirl Creative Co. was founded in 2025 by Amelia Alden and is based in North Carolina.

  • Eligibility. Our offerings are designed for adults. You confirm you are at least 18 years old when you purchase or participate.

  • Payment. Prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Payment is due in full at purchase unless a written agreement says otherwise.

  • Written agreements. Custom portraits, corporate experiences, private gatherings, and speaking engagements each come with a written agreement sent by email for your sign-off. That agreement sets the specifics, and these terms cover everything else.

  • Updates. We may update these terms as we grow. The version posted here, with its "Last updated" date, applies to purchases made on or after that date.

2. Coaching

Coaching is a forward-focused partnership for personal growth. Together we set the pace, and you hold the reins. These terms apply to every one-to-one session, including Coaching Session with Amelia and Cowboy Whisperer: One-to-One.

  • Payment. Coaching is paid in full at booking.

  • All sales final. Coaching purchases are non-refundable.

  • Rescheduling. Life moves, and so can your session. With at least 48 hours' notice, reschedule at your convenience by emailing howdy@cowgirlcreativeco.com or using your booking link.

  • Inside 48 hours. Sessions cancelled or moved with less than 48 hours' notice are forfeited and count as completed.

  • Arrival. Sessions start on time. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late without word, the session counts as a no-show and is forfeited.

  • If Amelia needs to reschedule. She will give as much notice as possible and offer a new time at no additional cost.

  • Your role. Coaching works through your choices and actions. You own the decisions you make during and after our work together.

  • Confidentiality. What you share in sessions stays between us, with the limited exceptions in Section 9.

3. Custom Portraits

You are the masterpiece, and every portrait is made by hand, made for you, and made to last.

  • Agreement and sign-off. Before work begins, we send your portrait details, timeline, and these terms by email. Work starts once we receive your written approval and payment.

  • Payment. Custom portraits are paid in full upfront.

  • All sales final. Because each portrait is created specifically for you, custom portraits are non-refundable.

  • Revisions. Each portrait includes 3 rounds of revisions.

  • Delivery. Portraits are printed on canvas or archival paper, ready for you to matte and frame. Framing is yours to choose.

  • Reprints and file rights. Your purchase includes the finished portrait for personal display. Reprints are available when you purchase rights to the original file.

  • Copyright and showcase. Cowgirl Creative Co. keeps the copyright in every portrait, including the right to share the work in our portfolio, on social media, and in Cowgirl Creative Co. marketing. Prefer your portrait stay private? Tell us before work begins and we will honor that request.

  • Your photos. You confirm you have the right to share any photos you send us for reference.

4. Prints, Posters and Merch

Archival prints and cowgirl merch, made to hang proud and wear well.

  • Made to order. Each print, poster, and tee is produced when you order it. Production takes [2 to 7] business days, followed by shipping. Shipping options and estimates appear at checkout.

  • Delays. If your order runs behind the estimate, we will email you with a new ship date and the option to cancel for a full refund.

  • Color. Screens vary, so printed colors may differ slightly from what you see online. That variation is part of the character of physical art.

  • Sizing. Please check the size chart on each product page before ordering, since made-to-order apparel is final sale for sizing.

  • Arrived damaged or wrong? Email howdy@cowgirlcreativeco.com within 14 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. We will send a replacement at no cost, or a refund if the design is unavailable.

  • All other sales final. Because every item is made for you, prints, posters, and merch are final sale apart from the damage and error policy above.

  • Shipping address. Please double-check your address at checkout. Orders shipped to an address entered incorrectly are the buyer's responsibility.

5. Gatherings, Retreats and Corporate Experiences

Our gatherings call women together to stand taller, laugh louder, and leave stronger. Cowgirl Creative Co. brings the confidence programming; venues, lodging, food, beverages, transportation, and on-site activities come from those providers under their own terms.

Private gatherings and corporate experiences

  • Booking. Bridal weekends, milestone celebrations, retreats, and corporate experiences are booked through a written proposal and agreement sent by email.

  • Holding your date. A deposit of [50]% holds your date. Deposits are non-refundable. The balance is due [30] days before the gathering.

  • Your cancellation. Cancel 30 or more days out and the balance is waived. Inside 30 days, the full fee is due.

  • Date changes. One date change is welcome with 60 or more days' notice, based on availability. Your deposit carries to the new date.

  • Your written agreement controls if it differs from these terms.

Ticketed gatherings open to the public

  • Refunds. Cancel 30 or more days out for a refund minus a $[25] processing fee. From 29 to 14 days out, receive full credit toward a future gathering. Inside 14 days, tickets are final.

  • Transfers. Send your spot to another woman by emailing her name and contact details at least 7 days before the gathering. She agrees to these terms and signs the Participation Agreement.

For every gathering

  • If we cancel or reschedule. Choose a full refund of what you paid us or a full credit toward a future gathering. Our responsibility is limited to the amount paid to Cowgirl Creative Co., so we recommend refundable travel bookings or travel insurance.

  • Circumstances beyond our control. If weather, natural disaster, illness, venue closure, government order, or similar events prevent a gathering, we will offer a new date or credit.

  • Participation Agreement. Gatherings may take place at ranches and outdoor venues across several states and may include outdoor and horse-adjacent activities. These settings carry inherent risks, including uneven ground, weather, wildlife, and the unpredictable behavior of animals. Taking part in any physical or horse-adjacent activity is always your choice. Every participant signs a Participation Agreement and Release before attending, which includes any notice required by the state where the gathering takes place.

  • North Carolina equine notice. For gatherings in North Carolina that include equine activities:

WARNING Under North Carolina law, an equine activity sponsor or equine professional is not liable for an injury to or the death of a participant in equine activities resulting exclusively from the inherent risks of equine activities. Chapter 99E of the North Carolina General Statutes.

  • Health and wellness. You know your body best. Please share any health needs that affect your participation and consult your physician before physical activities.

  • Beverages. Where alcohol is served, it is served by the venue or a licensed provider to guests 21 and older. Please enjoy responsibly and arrange safe transportation.

  • Respect rides with us. We may ask anyone whose behavior disrupts the group or endangers others to leave, without a refund.

  • Photo and video. We love capturing the spirit of our gatherings. By attending, you consent to being photographed or filmed and to Cowgirl Creative Co. using those images in our marketing, website, and social media. Prefer to stay off camera? Let us know at check-in and we will honor that choice.

6. Speaking

Amelia brings the stage presence, and every engagement gets its own clear plan. Each speaking or speaker bureau engagement has a written agreement, sent and signed by email, that sets fees, logistics, cancellation terms, and recording rights.

7. Community and Email

The gates swing open soon. Membership terms, billing, and cancellation policies for The Crew and The Inner Circle will be posted here at launch.

  • Founding member list. Joining our list means you receive news, gatherings, art, and offers from Cowgirl Creative Co.

  • Unsubscribe anytime. Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and one click takes you off the list.

8. Website Use and Intellectual Property

Everything here was built with heart and grit, and it belongs to the brand.

  • Ownership. All content on cowgirlcreativeco.com, including art, portraits, prints, photographs, text, logos, the tagline "Soft as Suede. Strong as Iron.", coaching materials, and workshop content, belongs to Cowgirl Creative Co. or is used with permission.

  • Sharing. You are welcome to share our pages and social posts with credit and a link. Copying, reproducing, selling, or creating new works from our art or materials requires our written permission.

  • Purchased art. Buying a print or portrait gives you the physical piece for personal display. Copyright stays with the artist unless a written agreement transfers it.

  • Session and workshop materials. Worksheets, downloadables, and recordings shared with you are for your personal use.

  • Your words and photos. When you send us testimonials, comments, or photos, you grant Cowgirl Creative Co. permission to share them in our marketing, using your first name or initials unless you request otherwise.

  • Privacy. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your information.

9. Disclaimers

We bring the fire; you bring the follow-through.

  • Coaching scope. Coaching is a forward-focused partnership for personal growth, confidence, and goal-setting. It is an educational and supportive service, separate from therapy, counseling, medical care, financial advice, and legal advice. If you work with a licensed professional in those fields, please continue that care. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 or call 911.

  • Confidentiality exceptions. Amelia may share information from coaching when required by law or when she believes someone faces a risk of serious harm.

  • Results. Your growth is your own. Outcomes depend on your effort, choices, and circumstances, and specific results are not guaranteed.

  • Testimonials. Testimonials on our site reflect the real experiences of individual clients. Every woman's path is her own, and your experience may differ.

  • Inspiration and information. Content on our site and social channels is shared for inspiration and general information.

10. Limitation of Liability

Plain talk, cowgirl to cowgirl. To the fullest extent the law allows, Cowgirl Creative Co., its owners, and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services, products, gatherings, or website. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific service or product involved. Liability that the law does not allow us to limit, including gross negligence or willful misconduct, remains in place.

11. Governing Law and Gatherings in Other States

We would always rather talk it out over coffee than in a courtroom.

  • North Carolina law. These Terms and Policies are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.

  • Gatherings in other states. The Participation Agreement for a gathering may follow the law of the state where that gathering takes place and will include any notice that state requires.

  • Talk to us first. If a concern arises, email us and we will work toward a fair resolution within 30 days.

  • Venue. Any legal action will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Union County, North Carolina.
